XYNN QR does not collect your data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The QR codes you create are generated on your own device and stored only on your own device.
XYNN QR is published by xynn OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia. xynn OÜ is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This data is written to your device's local storage. It is never transmitted to us, and we have no ability to read it. Deleting the app, or clearing this site's data in your browser, permanently erases it.
Wi-Fi passwords and contact details you encode are handled exactly like everything else: on-device only. Note that a QR code is not encryption. Anyone who can scan or see the code you produce can read what it contains, so take care when sharing codes that encode a password.
The web version at qr.xynn.io is served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service acting as our processor. Like any web server, it records standard request logs, which may include your IP address, browser user-agent, the time of the request, and the page requested. These logs exist for security and operational reasons and are handled under Google's privacy terms.
We add no analytics, no cookies, and no tracking scripts of our own. The app itself makes no network requests after it has loaded.
The Android version is distributed through Google Play. Google collects installation, device, and crash information under its own privacy policy, independently of us. We receive only aggregate, anonymous statistics from the Play Console, such as install counts. We cannot identify individual users from these.
The app requests no Android permissions. It has no camera access, because it generates QR codes rather than scanning them.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing.
In practice we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. The content you create is under your direct control and can be erased at any time from within the app or by clearing your browser's site data. For the server logs described above, contact us at example@xynn.io and we will pass the request to our hosting processor.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
XYNN QR is not directed at children, and since it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
